Land Rover Repair: td5 coolant runs away, exhaust gases, engine failure

hellow john, my disco with td5 engen runs out of coolant and no one can find leakage place!I loose about 1 liter for 300-500 km.It goes winter or summer!I noted that it runs away faster when i drive fast and far.Thank you for reply!

Hi Andre,

sounds like a blown headgasket.  That much fluid loss and there is no puddles underneath - has to go somewhere.  Probably going out your tailpipe:  leak allows coolant to be burned up within combustion chambre.  There are tests that garages can do to detect coolant with your exhaust gases.  Best to have this address before even more damage or complete engine failure.  If left unrepaired:

Cylinder liner drops = engine ruined = $$$ = dealer :) = you :(

Don't let this go too long.
