Land Rover Repair: electronics. ECU?, landrover discovery, o2 sensors

Question
QUESTION: i have a 200 landrover discovery. the service engine light throws codes no input voltage from maf? all 4 o2 sensors tranny safemode. i replaced the maf and no change. i did have a battery cable short out on the manifold a few months back? any way it runs very rich and i was told that it seems to be in lim mode because nothing is adjusting like it is suppossed to. should i try an ecu next ?

ANSWER: No voltage from the MAF would suggest a wiring fault to me.  What I would do is look at the live data on T4 or Autologic and see if there is indeed no reading  If there is a reading, that may point to an intermittent issue, or something else.  If there is not, I'd trace the circuit and see what's wrong.  So you are going to need the wiring books and a test system with live data display to get to the bottom of this in an efficient manner

QUESTION: i found that f2 fuse was blown and after replacing it the car runs for a few minutes the maf starts reading and rthen the car dies

Answer
My answer is still the same . . . what you related reaffirms that you have some kind of wiring problem. Does the fuse blow again?  Why?  You need to go back to the live data, and trace the circuits involved.  Anything else is just guessing and hoping to get lucky
