Land Rover Repair: right fron noise, wheel hub, noise question

Question
QUESTION: I have a noise coming from the right front wheel area when I hit the brakes lightly at around 30-40 mph. It sounds as if you are running over expansion joints on a bridge one after the other.

ANSWER: The first thing I would do is look at the brakes to see if they are worn out.  Odds are 9 in 10 a check of the brakes will answer the question.

QUESTION: Thanks for the quick reply. The car has all new rotors and pads, 2 months ago. Seems like it would be something in the anti-lock brakes or the air suspension.

Answer
The air suspension does not have anything to make noise.  The anti lock brakes are silent unless they are working, and if they are, that's given away by the vibrating feel in the pedal.  You might have a wheel hub failure.  I think the answer should be visible if the noise is every time and loud.
