Land Rover Repair: transfer over heat,see handbook/manuel, beep sound, range rover

My range rover 4.0 makes a continous beep sound,and writes on the dashboard (transfer overheat,see handbook or manual,please kindly assist as this is so discomforting,and continues so far the vehicle is switched on.

If this happens when the vehicle is cold then the transfer box temp switch has failed.  That's the most common cause of this light.  Depending on your vehicle, the switch is either on the box itself, or in the lines for the fluid cooler, up by the radiator
