Land Rover Repair: 02 Disco Parking brake wont disengage, brake drum, upper face

My parking brake will not disengage.  It clicks on the way up to engage, I press the button and lower the lever, but it doesn't release.  Is there an easy fix for this, or am I going to have to have it towed in for repair?

If you slide under the truck you will see the park brake drum at the rear of the transfer case.  On the front upper face there is a 1/2inch square adjuster for the shoes.  You may be able to unscrew that and release the brake to take it to a shop.
