Land Rover Repair: 2003 freelander turn signal problem, left turn signal, signal problem

I'm getting a problem where when I put my right or left turn signal on I get a buzzing noise coming from the flasher and the turn signal doesn't work. Also the seat belt lamp flickers. When I put put hazards on they work fine. I tried changing the flasher with no success.  I would take it to the dealer, but they are a bunch of jerks.  Any idea what could be the problem? Thank you for your help.

I would guess you've got a corroded ground somewhere in the dash.  If you don't want to use the dealer you could subscribe to Land Rover's site, www.landrovertechinfo.com and look at the component locations and wiring book.

Look for the grounds and power sources for those relays
