Land Rover Repair: 94 Classic LWB, air spring, lwb

Question
For the past few months, the upper switch on my height adjustment will flash continuosly and then remain lit. My vehicle seems to rise when I start the engine. But, I noticed there is ab occassional hissing noise from the LR when I park and shut off the engine. When I close the doors, the vehicle drops like it nomally does. However, while underway I don't think it is dropping to the highway position. Can a possible leak in the LR cause the entire EAS to operate irraticlly. Or is there something else at play here. Thank you in advance for your time and consideration. 94 RR classic WLB

Answer
I'm sure that air spring leaks. It's absolutly normal at that age.
When you hear the hissing noise try to spray the air spring with some good foaming material (like glass cleaner spray).
I'm sure you will find many litte leaking spot on the spring.

The vehicle dropping height because it try to keep it horizontally. So if left spring leaks, it will lower the other side too.
