Land Rover Repair: Adding DRLs to 2002 Disco2, daytime running lights, body control module

Recently purchased 2002 Disco2 and it did not come with daytime running lights.  The dealership wants $300 to add this "option".  Is there a way to do this myself.  They commented on the need to add a resistor or something like that.

Like the dealer told you, they need to add a resistor and reconfigure the body control module.  You can't do the reconfiguration yourself.  Perhaps you can find an independent shop to work on your truck, but they'll need the t4 or Autologic system to do what you want.
