One las t question for today, the cruise control
on my '97 Discover was working fine but now has
stopped working. What should I check for, vacuum hose leaks, fuses, something else? Thanks.

AnswerThe 1st most common problem is a broken vacuum line, to the actuator or the tee or the hose going back to the dump switch above the brake pedal.
The 2nd most common problem is a bad stop lamp switch, but that usually prevents shifting out of park, also.
Other problems need to be traced wire by wire with the electrical troubleshooting manual. Common problem #3 is probably bad wires to the steering wheel.
