Land Rover Repair: Brake pads & rotors, free lunch, brake pads

What brand brake pads & rotors do you suggest for an '03 Discovery SE 4.6?  I do about 30K miles a year. I am looking at Hawk, EBC etc..

The only thing we recommend on a 2003 Rover is oem (genuine Land Rover) pads and rotors, because the off-price stuff has not performed as well for us.

Use it if you want, but recognize that there's no free lunch when choosing replacement parts.  The brakes that cost half as much as genuine are more likely to squeal, feel funny in the rain, or something else.
