BRAKES GRAB ON INITIAL START UP  AFTER DRIVING A WHILE THEY GET BETTER. I REMOVED DRUMS AND CHECKED SHOES. OK HAD DRUMS TURNED OK  NO LEAKAGE FROM WH. CYL OR AXLE SEAL. CHECKED VAC CHECK VALVE. OK. WHAT COULD YOU SUGGEST?
Answer -
hello bob
check rubber plugs in back of drums they can get water on the drums if not there pete
I REMOVED THE FRONT PADS AND THEY WERE WORN AND THE ROTORS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED SO I'LL PUT NEW ROTORS AND PADS ON.  THE CALIPER PISTONS WERE A LITTLE HARD TO PUSH BACK INTO THE BORE HOLE AT FIRST BUT BOTH DID RETRACT.I WILL ASSEMBLE THE UNIT AND LET YOU KNOW IF THE PROBLEM STILL EXIST.I WILL FIRST CORRECT ALL BASIC PROBLEMS.THE VAC. BOOSTER AND MASTERCYL CHECK OUT OK. I AM SUSPICIOUS OF THE PROPORTIONING VALVES. WATER ON THE BRAKES WAS THE FIRST SYMTOM I DISCUSSED WITH THE OWNER.THIS IS A LITTLE BIT MORE COMPLICATED PROBLEM. THANKS FOR SUCH A RAPID RESPONSE.
