Lincoln/Mercury Repair: Fuses, 12 volt systems, mercury cougar

I have a 1995 Mercury Cougar. Whenever you get in and close the doors they automatically lock. This causes a fuse to blow and the car will not start. We have replaced the fuse and as soon as you start the car the fuse blows again. Can you give me any ideas?

this is a short in one of the door locks this is not going to be easy on less you have testers for 12 volt systems the only way to check it is pull the door panels and on plug the elct. for door lock one at a time and each time start the car . Good luck hun and if i can help more let me know pete
