Motorcycle Repair: spark plug socket, honda shadow, tool pouch

I own a 99 Honda shadow VLX600. This is probably a stupid question, but I cant find a spark plug socket to fit into the engine cavity to remove two of the four spark plugs. Is there a special tool I need, or am I just not looking hard enough?

Hi Hank, Definately NOT a stupid question. There is in fact a special socket (comes with the bike) in the tool pouch under your seat or behind one of the side covers. It'll have to be that tool in order to remove the plugs because its a thin wall socket to fit within the heads.
