Motorcycle Repair: Rev Tech Six Speed, chain and sprockets, hayden spring

Question
Hey Mike, Looking at your answers for the first time, great stuff.
My issue:  4 years ago I installed a 100" RevTech and had the 5 speed in my 90 FLHS upgraded to a Rev Tech 6 speed by way of the 6 speed kit into the 5 speed box. Somewhere during the third season I began to notice what feels like a quick,  sharp clutch slip about 5 seconds after shifting into 5th gear only.  To this day it only happens when the bike is warm and more prone to happen when I'm leaning on the throttle after the shift, just puttin' along does not bring it on.
Over time it has gotten a little more common but I have around 15000 miles on the bike since I first noticed this and it really is not that much worse.  Clutch has been replaced, with Barnett heavy spring. Primary Chain and sprockets are fine, compensating sprocket looks good but it is original (About 125000 mi. on bike)I use a Hayden spring loaded primary adjuster, have tried going back to stock, no change.
When I first noticed this condition I actually thought it was an engine miss, the sort of thing you get when ignition cuts out for a split second. Over time I'm convinced it's a drive line thing.
Any ideas?

Answer
I am more inclined to think that its a clutch issue, not a trans issue. You might have to clutch over tightened. Loosen the clutch cable so there is some slack in it and readjust the clutch. Make sure its not adjusted to tight or it will slip
Good luck and happy riding
Mike
