Motorcycle Repair: Replacing a clutch cable, clutch cable, replacing a clutch

I have a 1996 Road King that I need to put a longer clutch cable on.What do I do once I get the release cover off?

Answer
Look inside the release cover and you will see how the cable is attached.Once you have installed the clutch cover back with the cable, attach the cable to the lever. Adjust the cable so you have about 1/8 inch play in the lever.
