Motorcycle Repair: valve replacement, suzuki savage, valve work

Hi, i have a 1998 suzuki savage.  I removed the camshaft because i replaced the valves and the springs, i put it back togheter but now it wont start, it has compresion and everything, the timing might be off, or can it be that i didnt put the camshaft the way it was and valves are not syncronized, how can fix it?help please.

Hi David,

Do you have a copy of the service manual?

Did you replace the valve seats, or perform any work to the valve seats, or lap the valves?

Why was this valve work necessary?

What is cylinder compression? What was compression prior to the work being performed?

Was a leak-down performed? If so, what were the results?
