How do I replace starter torsion spring?

 If memory serves correct, you just need to remove the right side cover (dran oil first) to get access to it.  Once looking at the mechanism it should be self explanitory.  If you plan to  do more work on the bike I suggest you pick up and aftermarket manual for the bike from either Clymer or Haynes.
