Nissan Repair: 97 nissan mistral [import], nissan mistral, wd40

We cant get the ignition key out???? pushing button but just wont budge!!!! there is a whirring noise when we're trying to do it???? we've only just got it & as its an import, all the info is in japanese!! It starts no problem...its just STUCK!....please HELP!!!!

hello Lesley try getting a can of wd40 with the little tube and very gently spray a little oil down the side of the key to see if it fees the key up failing this check some of the mistral owners drivers clubs they may have a manual on your can online ....just a quick note maybe i should have asked you if it was an auto as this seems to be a common fault in them at this time of year as the linkages underneath get all gummed up with dirt and such hope you have it all sorted now
