Nissan Repair: oil leek, crank pulley, nissan pulsar

Question
hello i have got a 91 nissan pulsar leeking engine oil i have replaced the oil sump gasket but is still leeking oil from above the oil pan seal where engine pulley is, oil is spraying out once engine is hot and ildling fast, can you help thanks

Answer
The oil seal that is located behind the crank pulley has failed and needs to be replaced. In order to do this, the crank pulley, (also called harmonic balancer or damper) needs to be removed first, then the timing cover on which the oil seal is located.
