Nissan Repair: Noise coming from front, passenger wheel on 93 240sx., bearing timken, nissan 240sx

Question
Hi, I drive a 93 240sx and when I turn my steering wheel to the right, there is a clicking noise coming from the passenger wheel that speeds up and slows down with how fast i am turning my wheel to the right. I am thinking its a wheel bearing but I am not for sure. While the car was still on the ground, i grabbed the top of the wheel, and pushed and pulled it back and forth and there was a clicking sound, but i felt no movement in the wheel. If this is the wheel bearing, can i just replace the bearing, i heard that sometimes you cannot just replace the bearing. And again if its the bearing, how much should i pay for labor? Thank much, Justin

Answer
Justin,

Yes, it sounds like the wheel bearing to me.

Pull the spindle and take it to a machine shop that has a press.

Check out the link for the bearings.

Look at about $100 more for labor to press the bearings out and in.
