Nissan Repair: hello, nissan 300zx, little smoke

i have a 1991 nissan 300zx twin turbo right hand drive and i just started having problems with it and im not sure whats wrong cause im thinking it might be a fuel problem cause it idles rough and when u go to giver theres lots of hesitation and a little smoke along with a poping sound to i just dont know what it is

Hi Dwayne -

When was your last tune up? Spark plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor (esp cap and rotor).
I always recommend to start with the basic fix first.

When you say it idles rough, does it miss steadily, or is it intermittent? Going up the hills, does it miss, or is it OK? Is that when it starts popping?
