Nissan Repair: 2005 Nissan Quest Electrical, fuse box, gas bars

Question
I have 5 issues:
1. My wife heard a pop and the radio and DVD stopped working but the fuse is not blown, is there a fusible link? Where would it be located?
2. The backup sensor will not turn on. I push the switch but the off light stays lit. Is it just the switch? How can I replace it?
3. When the driver's side window goes up in auto mode it closes then comes back down about 3 inches. I have to press and hold the button for 5 to 10 seconds after it reaches the top for it to stay closed.  Switch or window motor? How do I get the panel off?
4. Auto sliding door on passenger side will sometimes do something similar to the window. It will almost close then open as if it encountered an obstacle. It has to be pushed to the closed position at the end of travel for it to stay. This is intermittent. What could be the cause?
5. Can the LCD unit in the dash be replaced? sometimes my mileage numbers and gas bars show sometimes some of them don't display. There is always a partial display.

Answer
Jim,

The stereo system has internal fusing and that could have blown.  But, from the backup sensor and such, I was wondering if this happened all at once and that could cause the multiple problems like a circuit breaker overloading.  There is another fuse box under the hood.  On the window there is a limit button that needs to be pressed to get the window to work normally.  You have to take the door panel off and run the window all the way down and all the way up while pressing the black rubber button to let the motor know where the window is as it travels.  The back sliding door has the same feature and that has to be set as well.  Sounds like to me that the power has been killed to the van and that is where the problems started.  The LCD can be replaced and that means that someone with a computer (Consult III) needs to reprogram the mileage to get them to read correctly.  Otherwise, a sticker with the adjusted mileage needs to be attached to the drivers door and that will kill the resale value of the vehicle.  It is cheaper to spend the money up front to get the mileage adjusted on the LCD.  Now, if you are going to drive the wheels off the van then you could just source a cluster out of a wrecked vehicle and run with it.
