Nissan Repair: a/c, c unit, evaporator

I just bought a 2001 sentra and it has no a/c! I didn't think they made new cars without a/c. anyways what would it take to put an a/c unit in my car?

You could check with courtesyparts.com for the dealer installed airconditioning option.  Basically, where the air box goes a replacement box with an evaporator and all the airocnditioner parts get installed.  The dash plate changes and they install a compressor, condenser and all the hoses and related parts.  You are looking at a bit of cash to install...  Any good mechanic could install it for you in a day.
