Nissan Repair: Misfire, nissan sentra, distributor cap

Question
I just bought a '92 1.6 liter Nissan Sentra with approx. 170000k miles. Cylinder #1 is not firing at all. I checked it by removing plug wire while engine was running and engine idle did not change at all. If I remove any of the remaining  plug wires the engine will come close to stalling. I've changed out the plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor but no luck. I'm thinking maybe a bad/plugged injector? What do you think?
Thanks in advance, Rudy

Answer
Hi Rudy -

You are correct. If replacing all the above did not work, then it very well could be the injector. Do the same thing. While the engine is running, remove the injector wire, and if there is no idle change, then it probably is the injector.

Hopr this helps -
