Nissan Repair: power seat, nissan maxima, hearing sound

Question
I have a 2000 Nissan Maxima.  The drivers power seat is all the way back and will not move when switch is applied. Can you advise what might be my problem?

I have a couple questions -

If you try to recline the seat or raise or lower, does that work?

Also, when you try to operate the switch to bring it forward, do you hear clickiing, or no sound at all?

If you are not hearing sound for back and forth travel, but can tilt the seat still, then it is probably the switch, or the wire that controls the seat travel is broekn or disconnected (you can check that with a circuit light tester).
