Nissan Repair: 93nissan altima cooling fans, jumper wire, relay circuits

the radiator fan stopped working,except when the a/c is on. I put in a jumper wire on the one side in place of the blue relay, labled [rad fan]. both fans work, so I know the fan still works but when the car warms up the one fan does not come on with the a/c off. what to do?

Pat,

One fan will come on when the car reaches operating temperature.  The other fan comes on when the car gets really hot or when the airconditioner is turned on.  If you like, you could bridge the relay circuits for both fans to come on at the same time when the car reaches temperature.  That is, if the car is heating to an unacceptable level.
