First of all, I dont have the Key for the back trunk of the car. !cannot open the trunk manually. I am just using the lever besides the driver side to open the trunk. It seems that the cable was loose or wahtever, My question is how to fixed this cable.

ok im going to answer this to the best logic i can come up with. first off, i would call a nissan dealership and ask if you can get a trunk key using the VIN of your car.  you may have to provide the title and proof of ownership to do this...IF they do this service (im not 100%, but i dont see why not).  second on the question of the cable, if it is loose i can only suggest you try to follow the cable (by removing interior trim, etc and hope that your problem doesnt involve the lock itself.  to take out the trim in the trunk to get to the latch itself, its usually fastened down between the trunk and the body and unfortunatly it isnt possible to remove this without the trunk open (that is if your back seats fold down to even get this far).  i would check the dealership and run from there.  it shouldnt cost tooooo much but be prepaired for a rediculous amount just for 1 key.  good luck...let me know what you find out.  xxp_sebby@yahoo.com
