Nissan Repair: Nissan jerks and revs at high speed as if downshifting, interstate transmission, transmission shifts

Question
usually happens when I go over a bump or a dip on interstate.  Transmission shifts normally through all gears.  Front shocks have never been replaced.  Transmission was rebuilt three years ago.  Car is 1994 Maxima with 221k on it.  Could this be caused by the tires rubbing from not having shocks replaced or is it more likely the transmission?

Answer
T Gober,

It sounds like the transmission is slipping when you have it running at those speeds.  The jerk you describe could be the clutches catching and releasing.  Email me back with more information and I will write more.  Also, it could be jumping in and out of overdrive if it is an automatic.
