Nissan Repair: frontier fuses, nissan frontier, amp fuse

i asked you about my gauges going crazy when I shut the car off and I tracked it down to fuse #28 elec.b,but I can't figure out what it runs.Only thing I can tell is the door chime but I know there has to be something else.Can you help me out.When I pulled the 7.5 amp fuse the gauges dropped but the fuse wasn't blown.Thanks   99 nissan frontier

If that is the case then there is a relay closing that powers the gauges.  Nissan has been bought out by Renault and now they have electrical problems like French cars.  I would do the same process with the relays until you find the one that kills the gauges and then replace it.  The nice part is Nissan uses the same relay for different things.  So, you could check it without purchase of another relay until you confirm that the relay corrects the problem by replacing it with another one from the car.  If it does the trick replace the relay with a new one and you are done.
