Nissan Repair: Nissan Maxima 97, OBDII code P1400, nissan maxima, impact wrenches

Question
Hello Von,

The "service engine soon" light of my Maxima SE 1997 (148,000)came on, but the car runs great. As you suggested, I had it checked by Autozone and have 4 codes:
P0500: speed sensor
P0136: O2 sensor 2 bank 1
and two P1400:  DPFE EGR Circuit Low Input.

About the speed sensor and O2 sensor, I may buy from Autozone and have it replaced by a mechanic. How much does it cost for the labor?

Secondly, the code P1400 is not common for a Nissan, what should I do with that? (Is it about the EGR Pressure Feedback Sensor?)And why are there 2 of them?

Thirdly, when I drive on highway about 70mph, and brake, I feel the brake shaky which doesn't happen when I drive with slower speed.

Please help me!
Thank you very much, Von. I appreciate that.

Answer
Naruse,

The speed sensor is easy as it plugs into the transmission and the oxygen sensor is a little more difficult as you need a 22 millimeter wrench to get it out.  The EGR needs to be replaced and it is a pain since the upper intake has to be removed.  No way around the last one unless you have lots of specialty tools and are good with engine work.  Injector rails and the upper intake have to come off and that means new gaskets and seals.  About four hours of work to do it.  The last code relates to the EGR and it should go away after the EGR valve is replaced.

The rotors on the front are warped and if they have not been turned you could get them turned and that would take care of the problem.  Never torque the wheels over 80 pound feet or they will warp again.  Shops use impact wrenches and torque the lug nuts too tight and that causes the problem.
