Nissan Repair: brake fluid, alignment shop, clutch fluid

Question
what type of brake/clutch fluid would I use in a 2003 Nissan almera 4 dot or 5.1 also is there any reason why the car veers heavily to the left new tyres are on and i have adjusted the tracking and balance

Answer
Steve,

I would think DOT3 would be the brake fluid of choice.  If you use other types the ABS would screw up.  Ford high Performance Brake Fluid is awsome since it is DOT3 and has a high boiling point.  On the subject of the car veering left I would think this is an alignment problem.  If it only does it when the brakes are applied the front caliper on the right would be defective or has trapped air.  now, if you have high crowns on the road where you live that could cause the problem and the alignment shop could adjust for this.
