QuestionWell my car a a strange shake when in gear and won't pass emissions. It has very high levels of hydrocarbons and NO. I put in a egr valve and I had a tune up. The car won't start easy in the morning and it has an ignition misfire, but I don't know why. I'm now wondering what could be done to fix this shake as well as this ignition misfire.

My first thought is a vacuum leak. There are a lot of places...gaskets, hoses, power brake booster, heater/air conditioner controls.
Dirty, sticky, or burnt valves.
That has a carburetor that could need attention.
But I would start with a vacuum guage test.
