Plymouth Repair: firing order, plymouth voyager, crank sensor

Question
I was wondering what the firing order for a 2000 plymouth voyager 3.3 l is. I just had a tune up w/coil pack replaced and it is still coding 4th misfire and coil pack-thanks a bunch Michelle

Answer
HEy,

If it is only recording one cylinder missfiring you have the firing order correct.  ON a waste spark system (one coil for two holes) if you had it incorrect it would not be able to isolate one cylinder).
You need to check the engine for compression balance.  The vehicle uses the crank sensor to measure the frequency over the revolution of the engine.  If the PCM senses 'lag' for one power stroke it determines that cylinder is missfiring.  The most common issue with 3.3's are carbon not allowing a valve to seat and causing compression balance issues for that cylinder.
If you check the compression of #4 , check the cylinder beside it as well and record your results.  If they are exact email me back and I wil l help you further.
