Plymouth Repair: 92 plymouth voyager trans. code 42, plymouth voyager, repair person

i have a 92 ply. voyager that drops into limp mode
tran.repair person said maybe elect.prob.
he wanted paid before starting work but i refused,
do you have any ideas.    thank you.

HEy guy,

 Send another request with engine size and transmission model. Code 42 is 2-4 shift solenoid to my memory.  If so its a 4sp electronic overdrive trans and might need a solenoid pack. Its going in to limp in mode because a solenoid is open.
