How difficult is it to replace a sensor 1 Oxygen sensor on a 2003 Pontiac Montana? Is it better to have it done by a professional?

Hi there:

it's a bit cramped and hard to get to. To do the job right and not strip the nut off the sensor you need an O2 sensor socket to get it out of the manifold. it's on the back side of the engine my the fire wall. so if you have a socket to do it and are up to doing it give it a try. It's really not that bad a job to do. Good luck :-}
