sun roof opened fine will not close just aclicking noise

Hi William:

Well without seeing it I can't say for sure what happened but either a piece on the track brok and or jammed or the motor is jammed up. those are the only 2 pieces serviced on the unit other then the glass. Nothing is replaceable on it the roof is serviced as a complete assembly minus the motor and it's not cheap. you couls possably pull the headliner down and take the motor off and see if the motor will run when it's off the track assembly if it does the track assmebly is bad. if the motor doesn't run the motor is bad.
