Porsche Repair: 1985 porsche 944 starting problems, porsche 944, 1985 porsche 944

Question
I have just recently inherited a 1985 porsche 944 from my son who got fed up with it. I have tried several things to get this started to no avail. I have replaced battery,plugs plug wires, distributer and rotor,ignition coil and ignition relay. It still is not firing. Before i got this the car ran well. My son said he let it sit for about a week and the battery was dead. He tried to jump it. Could he have posssibly burnt out the computer board. Please help.

Sure it could have. anything is possible.

Does the engine turn over?
Does it have spark?
Does it have fuel pressure?
Can you hear the injectors triggering?

He may have connected the battery jumper backwards!
