RV Repair: 120 volt rv furnace/dometic ac installation in older park model

Question
I want to add a roof top dometic ac unit to an older park model rv equipped with a hydroflame 120 volt rv furnace. the park model is pre wired for an ac. As near as I can tell there is no 12 volt dc available in this model. The furnace is 24 volts ac. Any advice for wiring the two to the tstat. Thanks, Wayne

Answer
Ok well this will prove to be a little difficult. you will need a transformer to either take the 24 volt dc and change it to 12 volt dc or get a transformer that will go from 110 ac to 12 volt dc in order to run this ac. I believe there is a conversion kit out there however I cannot find one online or in the catalog. If it is made by Coleman you can call rvp in Wichita and 316-832-4357. If its dometic then you may be able to call 1-574-294-2511. Dometics wait time is forever so be parpered to wait. One outer option is to use a ceiling control that has knobs on it  they require no 12 volt however the fan runs continuous.

Thnaks I hope This help have a great day
