RV Repair: flat aluminum trailer roof cracking, flat aluminum, aluminum trailer

Question
Shawn:
I own a 1996 Mainliner (out of business) enclosed car trailer that has a flat aluminum roof.  The aluminum has bowed up in many places from the sun. unfortunately, the bowed up areas buffet in the wind, forcing the aluminum up and down.  This has work hardened the aluminum and it has started cracking in many places.  I have tried all kinds of sealants/goops to stop the leaks.  I have also drilled the cracks to keep them from spreading.  all to no avail. I live in Houston, Texas and can't find anyone who will replace the roof for me.  any ideas?
thanks.

Answer
I'm very surprised that you can not find anyone to replace the roof, any RV dealer should have no problem doing this repair.  It is a bit extensive to repair without any knowledge on this but being in Houston you must have many RV dealers, if you can not find any to do the repair email me again and I'll give you a step by step procedure and you can decide for yourself if you would loke to tackle it.
