RV Repair: Please help me.Roof Air problem, allegro, chevy

I have a 1984 Chevy Allegro that has two roof aircondtionings in it. Is the front air suppose to be able to run with the Generator?Well it won't and i don't know what else to do. Please help me or tell me what i can do to resolve this problem. Thank you so much for your time and consideration in this matter very much.

A little more info would be great, do they run when your unit is plugged in be sure there isn't a problem with the AC itself. The answer to your question is yes one of the AC's should run off of the generator.  Be sure that the gen set is powering your unit, hat you have 120VAC when running check for micro operation or plug something into an outlet.  If you have power to the unit when generator is running and AC's do work off of shore power you will need to verify wiring of unit breaker box.  Your unit may have a sub panel that is powered by the generator and the AC's may not be on that panel.  I hope I was able to help a bit or at least give you some direction to go.
