RV Repair: RV Repair. Propane System, toyota dolphin, propane system

Question
1989 Toyota Dolphin. Propane system looses presure with no apparent cause, appliances shut down or stove flame so small can't cook.  Replaced presure regulator, checked for leaks with soap water, no leaks, all lines look fine, never a smell of gas.  Problem still exists. R.V. mostly used at 4200 ft. ,in the Mts. Often cold. I've seen ice on the regulator, not sure what to do next. Please advise. Thanks, Jim M.

Answer
Because propane loses pressure inside the tank at cold temperatures, you may need to insulate the pipes if they are under the trailer and you can try covering the tanks also, you could also have air in the lines, in this case you would need to purge the system and then re-connect. I would recommend the first suggestion in your case since you are in a colder area and altitude.
