RV Repair: rv airconditioner blower., fifth wheel camper, wall thermostat

Question
I have a fifth wheel camper and the air conditioner isn't working.  The compressor makes noise but the blower doesn't blow any air.  Any suggestions?  Thanks.

    It sounds like you either have a bad fan motor or capacitor.  If you remove the return air filter from the ceiling you should be able to access the squirrel cage.  You can spin this by hand and then turn the A/C on.  If the fan starts running then the start capacitor is bad.  It could also be in the switch or, if it has a wall thermostat it could be bad or the circuit board in the ceiling could be bad.  I hope this helps, good luck and happy camping.
