RV Repair: Metal skin repair, sheet metal screws, cross country trip

Question
I own a 1996 Prowler 25.5 foot fifth wheel (255L ?) with a slider unit. This summer while returning from a cross country trip, I noticed the metal skin "bulging" out from the coach on the passenger side of the coach. It was severe enough to separate the seams between the metal panels at highway speeds. Since there are no visible screws on the exterior of the coach, I assume the metal sides are laminated or glued to an interior surface. If this a true assumption, how do I go about a fix for the problem? Are there any framing materials to secure the metal siding back onto the coach? RV style sheet metal screws attached to the damaged side looks like an easy fix, with a balancing set of screws to the other side for appearances. If so, how do I find the studs without tearing apart the whole front end of the coach on that side? I think I can probe in between the separated panels if necessary. Fleetwood customer care was no help and only wanted to refer me to a dealer for repairs.

Thanks in advance,

Answer
Mike,
The bottm of each piece of metal on the outside of your RV should be stapled to the studs in the wall.  If the metal is seperated you should be able to see where they are.  If it's just one spot where you are having this problem an eay fix might be to mount a rflector in the area and screw it to the stud.  If it's a large area the metal will probably need to be removed starting at the bottom and working your way up to the problem and stapling the metal back to the studs.  I hope this helps, good luck and happy camping.
