RV Repair: new carpet, happy camping, new carpet

I have a 1999 Avion 5thWhl trailer and would like to change the carpet. How would I go about getting the carpet fastened under the edges of the slideouts.

     Whenever we recarpet a trailer and the carpet runs under the room we take all the fascia off so we can slide the room out past the sidewall.  That way we can staple the main carpet down under where the slide-out normally covers and it allows us plenty of room to recarpet the slide-out and roll that carpet underneath and attach it.  The newer ones that we have done make this unnecessary, because most of the flush floor slides don't have the carpet under them.  I hope this helps, good luck and happy camping.
