Saab Repair: Reverse Light, rear harness, ribbed rubber

Hi!!I have a 99 SAAB9-5. The reverse lights stays on when the car is on P or D. What should I do?

Open the trunk. On the left side hinge you will see a ribbed rubber tube, the wires for the trunk lid run inside here. Peel back the rubber and see if you can spot an open wire. If so repair the wire, or replace the rear harness. Most dealers should have it and it costs $150-200.If this doesn't work get ack to me.
