Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Stihl chainsaw 2nd question, grounding wire, style switch

Question
Thank you John very much for your prompt reply, I have only heard of this web site yesterday and I intend to ensure all of my friends also know of it.
I understand your reply but unfortunately there does not appear to be anywhere to attach a second wire to the metal contact of the switch, it has one green wire attached underneath the clip which the screw goes through that also holds the clip in place, I think maybe the metal clip may have part of it missing but it is not visibly obvious.
If you cannot help me any more I will understand, I realy need to see a picture of the section of the switch but I cannot find anybody with an old service manual.

Thank you for your help.

Answer
Hello Derek:

>>OK. This Saw has the Self Grounding Switch. There is Only 1 Wire from this Switch.
>>The Body of the Switch is the Grounding Contact Point of this Style Switch and Not a Wire. It is a Single Wire Switch.
>>It the Switch is Mounted in Plastic, then the Clip that you Described should have a Wire from it to the Engine for a Grounding Wire and the Wire Out of the Switch goes to the Coil.
>>I Hope I have Understood you Question.
