QuestionI have a Honda 120 motor that will not start. We ran the motor for the past two weeks but the last time it would not start. The spark plug will shock, but it will not spark holding it against the frame. And the shock is very light.
AnswerI have had defective coils, just like you described. The coil would shock you but not fire/spark across the spark plug.
Did you replace the spark plug? A $4 plug is cheaper than a $75 ignition module.
Try a brand new spark plug first!
