Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Craftsman 32cc Bushwacker gas Trimmer, wally world, gas trimmer

Question
My trimmer seems to die for no reason after running ok for some time...I looked into the gas tank and see the white filter and internal gas supply line floating, so I'm thinking the end of the gas supply tube is rising out of the gas, and sucking air.
Am I right? and is there a fix for this?

Answer
Hello Roger:

>>The Filter is Supposed to be on a Metal Sinker (for lack of a Better Term) that Holds the Filter on the Bottom of the Tank.
>>The Filter Slides Over this Sinker or you can Purchase the Complete Filter and Sinker as a Unit.
>>I was at Wally World (Wal-Mart) and they Sell the Complete Filter and Sinker as 1 Piece. I did Not See just the Filters Offered.
>>To View a Breakdown of this Unit Go to this Site Addy, http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/index.action?sid=PSHx20080114x00001 and Enter the Model Numbers and Click Search. From this Page you can View Diagrams and Parts Lists for you Equipment Using the "View Sub Components" Section Near the Bottom Left.

Good Luck
