I have a kenmore front loader washing machine that will not spin. It now has water in it and will do nothing. Model# 417400429900; Serial# xc03200469. Thanks.

Hi Terri,

Sounds familiar.  I've been there.  You may be lucky and only have a broken belt, which is easily replaced. You need to remove the front of the machine and look inside. Unplug the power cord or switch off the breaker at the power panel first.  There may be screws on the bottom of the front corners, then the front should slide out of 2 slots at the top.  Your panel may open differently but will come off.  Other things may have failed, like the pump or motor.
