Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Toro Snowblower, water in the fuel, summer thanks

Question
My 25 year old Toro 3HP snowblower will not continue to run after it has started. It starts after being primed and choked, but it will eventually stall, after removing the choke or leaving it on or 1/2 way.
It has been running o.k. this winter, so far. I recently filled the tank with fresh gas/oil, but have not changed the mixture.
Just hoping to get through this winter and then buy another in the spring/summer. THANKS FOR YOUR HELP

Answer
Hi Mike,

First, try adjusting the carb and make sure that the spark plug looks good.
I would then suspect water in the fuel or a lack of fuel flow most likely caused by debris. A 3hp has the fuel tank mounted under the carb if I remember.  You will need to remove the carb and tank, disassemble and clean all the parts.

Let me know how you make out.

Good Luck,
Michael
